International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases

Guidelines for In-Person Poster Presenters

Thank you for participating in ICEID 2022. Information regarding in-person poster presentations is provided below.

Please remember that all poster presenters are required to register for the conference. If you have not yet registered, you may do so through your Poster Presenter Portal. For questions, contact Andrea Berlin at aberlin@taskforce.org.

Authors may make changes/update abstracts until June 15, 2022.

Since this is a hybrid conference, all posters will be displayed on our virtual platform. Each presenter must up-load their poster to their Poster Portal whether they are presenting in person or virtually.

Uploading Poster Presentations

Please upload the following to your Poster Portal by July 18, 2022.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: you must upload your poster image in two places!

1. Poster Thumbnail
The thumbnail image is the first thing viewers will see alongside the poster title while scrolling through the virtual poster gallery. Either your poster or an image from your poster illustrating the topic can be uploaded.

To serve as the thumbnail image for the virtual poster gallery, acceptable file formats include PDF, PNG and JPEG.

Note: You do not need to manipulate the size of your image; the system will automatically resize the image appropriately.

2. Poster Materials
This tab is the dedicated area where you’ll upload your Poster PDF and an optional video.

Each item must be added individually.

To upload your Poster, select the “Upload Poster” button. You can only upload one document in this spot. * Acceptable file formats include .pdf or image file such as .jpeg or .png

To upload your materials, please select the “Add Material” button.
  • Video (optional) - you can upload a video with a commentary about your poster

All poster presenters are encouraged to include their poster board number and email address on their poster. The surface will be a cloth-covered bulletin board. Push pins will be provided to hang posters. No other supplies will be available. If you do not want to use push pins, you will need to bring your own supplies.
