Guidelines for In-Person Oral Abstract Presenters

Thank you for participating in ICEID 2022. Information regarding in-person oral abstract presentations is provided below.

Please remember that all oral presenters are required to register for the conference. If you have not yet registered, you may do so through your Presenter Portal. For questions, contact Andrea Berlin at aberlin@taskforce.org.

Authors may make changes/update abstracts until June 24, 2022.

Uploading Presentation Slides

Presentation slides must be uploaded by August 1, 2022.

Files should be uploaded through the Presenter Portal under "Presentation Files" for each presentation. Acceptable file formats include .doc, .docx, .rtf, .xls, .xlsx, .pps, .ppt, .pptx, and .pdf.

If you have questions about uploading your presentation, contact Ann Meller (ameller@taskforce.org).

Audio/Visual Equipment

In addition to submitting your presentation online, please bring a copy of your presentation on a flash drive in PowerPoint or another Microsoft-compatible program/format. If you plan to use a program/format that may not be Microsoft compatible, contact Ann Meller (ameller@taskforce.org) to determine compatibility prior to uploading.

Screens in the presentation rooms are converted to a 16:9 aspect ratio for slides.

Speaker Ready Room

The Speaker Ready Room is in the Learning Center, across from the Centennial Ballroom. Technical staff will be available on site for assistance throughout the conference.

Session Times

Oral presentation sessions will be held 3:15 PM – 4:45 PM (EDT), Monday – Wednesday, August 8 – 10, 2022. You will receive notification of your presentation date and time in May.

Each session has six (6) speakers with each presentation lasting no more than 15 minutes total. Presenters should plan to speak for approximately 10 – 12 minutes to allow time for any questions. It is imperative that these time limits are followed to ensure adequate time for audience questions and discussion. Moderators for each session will strictly enforce time limits. You will receive notification of your presentation date and time in May.

In person presentations will be live streamed to virtual attendees who will be able to participate in the post-presentation Q&A.
